What I Ate: Loaded Chocolate Chip Cookies

As delicious as chocolate chip cookies are on their own, sometimes you want to mix 'em up.

I threw in a bunch of mini chocolate chips, as usual, but I also threw in some large dark chocolate chips (Ghirardelli's 60% cacao), sweetened coconut flakes, and rainbow sprinkles. C'mon, rainbow sprinkles? You know these are going to be amazing.
I scooped a few out onto a piece of parchment to be baked immediately...
... and the rest of the dough went onto a silpat-lined sheet pan to be frozen for future consumption. I also sprinkled each cookie with a little sea salt. That was the best touch.
