Funfetti Cupcakes

In addition to the chocolate covered oreos, I made some funfetti cupcakes for the bake sale. I decided to jazz them up by baking a candy bar in the center and then topping them with cream cheese frosting.

Use applesauce in lieu of oil in boxed cake mixes for a lower fat recipe AND a moister cake.


{make the batter}
{yum}
{line your cupcake tins and add a little batter in each}
{cute!}
{cut some fun-size candy bars in half}
{and place in the center of each cupcake}
{and then top off with more batter}
{and bake at 350 for 12 to 14 minutes until done}
{yay! finished baking}
{leave them alone to cool}
{make a little cream cheese frosting}
{1 stick butter, 8 oz. package cream cheese, 2 cups powdered sugar}
{and add a few sprinkles for fun}
{I love the colorful smears}
{pipe swirls on the cupcakes}
{stick the cupcakes in some cups to protect the frosting}
{makes them so portable}
