GM's Cheeseburgers
Happy Christmas Eve, Eve!
This year for GM's birthday, I went a little more low-key than past years and made some simple cheeseburgers. I made the buns with a yeasted dough and used whole wheat flour and sprinkled the tops with oats instead of sesame seeds. The burger patties were just pure lean ground beef, the cheese was a lovely goat's milk slice (from Trader Joe's) and the special sauce was simply natural peanut butter.
I didn't do a full on recipe post because I just used my existing burger buns recipe (with the few tweaks mentioned above) and the rest was pretty self-explanatory. But, I have a lovely little photo diary of the process to share.
